We Are Peterhead has shared the main themes raised when it asked its Facebook community which sports facility the town was missing. The update was published on 1 October.

The project team highlighted requests for bowling, improvements to swimming facilities, more indoor space for year-round sport and skating opportunities. Affordability and access for different ages and abilities ran through the responses.

These are community suggestions rather than an agreed list of new facilities. The update says feedback will inform Board discussions about investment over the next ten years. It does not confirm a location, funding package or construction date for any individual suggestion.

The full project update explains the ideas in more detail and how the feedback will be used.
