Murdoch Allan’s first butcher shop opened at 18 Queen Street on 16 September 2026, according to Scottish Bakers’ report published that day. This is a dated business update, not an announcement that the shop opened today.

The trade organisation said the business took over the former Tommy Ritchie shop and created six additional jobs. It described the move as an expansion of the family business’s food retail offer.

The current Make it Scotch directory also lists Murdoch Allan at the Queen Street address. Our linked business listing keeps the address separate from this historical opening report. Visitors should confirm present opening hours and availability directly with the business.
